Phetsile Magagula

Ms Magagula, a Chartered Accountant, Certified Director and Certified Ethics Officer is a seasoned accomplished financial and procurement executive with progressive experience spanning over two decades in the field of financial accounting, supply chain management, financial information systems management and integrated reporting. Her extensive experience was obtained from various Chief Financial Officer roles in public sector (9), financial services (1) and NGO sectors (3) in which she led highly effective teams that ensured financial sustainability, efficient financial and supply chain management systems in compliance with the PFMA legislation and IFRS/GRAP standards.

Phetsile is passionate about promoting ethical leadership and sound governance. To advance this course she founded The Ethics Platform; and voluntarily serves as finance, audit and risk expert on boards of Non Profit Organisations; currently; on the Initiative for Social Performance In Renewable Energy; previously on the board of World Vision South Africa. She is the Chief Procurement office of uMngeni-uThukela Water.
